What are the Canadian duties and taxes?

All spanx.com orders shipped to destinations in Canada are subject to Canadian taxes, which will be collected upon checkout on spanx.com. Orders shipped from the U.S. to Canada are also subject to Canadian duty. If your order is shipped from one of Spanx’s warehouse locations in the U.S., you will be the importer of record. Your checkout amount is inclusive of all applicable Canadian duties and taxes. Spanx’s agent will clear the goods through customs and remit these duties and taxes on your behalf. Your selected form of payment will be charged, and you will take title to your order upon shipment from Spanx’s warehouse.

Spanx is an approved CREDITS participant with the Canada Border Services Agency (“CBSA”). By ordering goods from Spanx, you authorize Landmark Global, an approved customs broker in CREDITS, to act as your agent, and to transact business with the CBSA to obtain the release of your merchandise, account for duties and taxes, return merchandise to Spanx, and electronically submit refund claims on your behalf. Under the CREDITS program, you understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the customs broker and that you will obtain the refund directly from Spanx. Further, you authorize Landmark Global to forward any refund issued by the CBSA in your name, so that Spanx can be reimbursed.
